Either we've adopted ourselves a dog or two; maybe even three or four, As for me, my furry kids have always adopted me. So I thought it was time I adopted a nickname. Ruby is my name and taking care of your furry little friends is my main, priority that is. Providing much needed care for animals has been something I have been doing since I was a child. Throughout my youth, I would spot strays around my neighborhood which I would try to rehome them if possible. Most of the time , I would end up being the option for their new home. I treat every animal as if they are a part of the family with no exceptions. Dogs have a personality all their own and are pack animals no doubt. Dogs also have a benefit of not talking back, like my children do, which makes dogs excellent listeners. I have experience working at Petsmart as a bather and received safety training as part of my overall training requirements. Making sure your little furry friends are safe is number 1 when searching for a sitter. I spent the last 5 years as an attendant at a doggie daycare/boarding facility, which also included my skills in grooming as well. Throughout the work day I would be responsible for 40-50 dogs or more at a time while working as an attendant whenever I was needed. Along with attending to the dogs in boarding and daycare, I would be responsible for bathing dogs with appointments each day. With scheduled feedings, constant cleanup, and of course major play time, working at St. Louis Muttropolitan Pet grooming, daycare/boarding was the best job I've ever had. With every client my intentions are for each one to feel comfortable and complacent with every service I provide, among engaging with each and every client in order to build up a strong relationship between pet owner and pet care giver.
