Hi! I’m Hailey, I’m twenty three years old. I’ve been petsitting on and off through Rover for about three years now. I would love to be of help to you and your pets! I’m currently working part time as well as going to school at JMU, so I am available any time Tuesday-Saturday. I had been sitting for about six months for the residents in my neighborhood back home, as I’m not from Harrisonburg, and I spent a lot of time just playing with the animals once I had their vital care such as feeding/walking/taking them out to potty done. I’ve done sporadic pet care for residents of Harrisonburg within the past couple of years.

Hailey was super accommodating for my sweet girls especially Molly who needs so much attention. She was always quick to respond to any inquiries and she sent lots of pictures and videos of my puppies looking content and happy. I will definitely use her again.
Hailey is prompt for Bane's daily hour long walk 4x/week. Bane seems to really like her whenever she arrives. While they don't walk as far as his previous walkers, you can only take so much in the heat right now.

I’m a strict follower of rules put in place by individual pet owners, as owners know their pets better than I do, and all pets are different, so I follow the instructions as to take care of the animal to the best of my ability. For example, I personally have a cat who is very needy but not incredibly affectionate, so she needs time to sit with me while being pet, because she isn’t a fan of being held or picked up.

I think that the most important information to know for a dog is obviously their medical needs but also their temperament and what makes them scared, nervous, etc. Some dogs I have cared for are just not very affectionate so some things like this are important to know for the sake of making them comfortable.
A typical day
I love to take the dogs I sit for on short walks throughout the day. I also enjoy sitting around with less active dogs and petting them, as well as trying to engage pets with their toys.

I work two days a week as I am a full time student, but most of my classes are online so I am able to work with most schedules.
