Pet care experience
I have cared for my dogs and cats for most of my life. On walks I have to stop to pet every dog. I am careful about pet safety and enjoy teaching new tricks. I am an emergency responder so I am calm and collected in stressful situations. I am committed to providing an uncompromising quality of care for your animals. If I am pet sitting most of the time I have with your animal will be spent outside being active. I will take your pet on trails or walks on the beach as long as that is okay with you. I will be going above and beyond to care for your animal in a way that I want my animals to be cared for.

I have two Belgian Malinois and it's been very difficult to find anyone who even knows what the breed is (they're military/police K9s). A lot of sitters have come ONCE, and didn't come back. Hailey has experience with this breed and she has the right amount of confidence and calmness to her demeanor. My mals actually look forward to seeing her. Hailey is always on time and keeps me apprised of her travel to them as well. Highly recommend her.
Hailey is great with our 95lb Bernedoodle and his slightly smaller labradoodle sister. They always seem happy after spending time with her and she does a great job with communicating and leaving the house the way she found it.
Hailey took great care of of our 2 cats over the holidays! Sent us daily updates and pix which gave us peace of mind. Would definitely recommend her!

Dog walks can be flexible to fit your pets needs (distance, speed). Check-ins can include short walks at owners request, and cat visits I will play with them and pet them or just sit near them if they are afraid just so they can warm up to my presence. Overnights in your home, I generally won’t leave the house for more than 2.5 hours or less if requested otherwise. I have no problem sleeping all cuddled up to your dog if that is what they are comfortable with. (I am never safe from dog hair so that’s not a concern of mine!)

Please inform me of any behaviors that are or are not acceptable so I can help to keep your pet trained to your liking.
A typical day
I do one on ones, usually try to stimulate with toys or treats and get your fur baby moving around. I’ll do some basic training upon request. If your pet is dog friendly I am always willing to bring my dog around to play or take your pet to the dog park. I have experience socializing reactive dogs and will be able to safely test your dogs temperament with mine before allowing face-to-face and play.

Availability
I work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (7am-3pm). I am a huge dog lover and only took the part time job on condition that my dog gets to go with me to work 😅 (codependent much?!) I prefer to spend my time walking, training, and caring for animals. I am in the process of trying to open up my own doggy daycare so that I can spend all of my time doing what I love!
