I've always had a passion for caring for animals. Doing so led me into my career as a veterinary technician. My extensive knowledge of animals and my skillset makes me a great candidate for any special needs pets, or for anyone looking for that extra assurance that if anything happens while you’re away, your fur baby is covered. On top of my skillset, I am certified Fear Free, which means I have a lot of knowledge about animal behavior. I can readily read cues and know how to adjust my behavior to make pets feel safer. If your pup gets anxious when you leave, I’m definitely your girl. I am also comfortable giving medication, shots, or whatever else may be needed. I know how important it is that animals receive the proper care when their owners aren't around, and I know how stressful it can be on them to meet new people. I've worked with many shelter dogs and cats and have learned how to properly approach very anxious animals. I want to make this as positive an experience as possible for your fur baby. I am currently taking a break from the veterinary field to pursue a second degree. I am going to school online, which means I can be there for your pet whenever you need me to. I always follow the instructions of the owner. I stick to the schedule as closely as possible, whether it be feeding or walking times. I am very versatile when it comes to caring for your pet, and I would prefer to adapt to your schedule for them. I have a small dog that gets along well with other dogs if you're looking for socialization, or I can take them to the dog park. It is really up to you and what you prefer. As stated before, I am comfortable and trained to give medication, shots, or whatever else may be needed. If you are in the process of training your pet, I am completely comfortable following those guidelines as well.
