I absolutely love animals! I grew up with Labrador Retrievers and cats that were family members, and have always felt a strong connection to animals. I've never met a dog or cat I didn't like, and vice versa. I've been pet sitting professionally on and off for about ten years, since I started a neighborhood pet sitting business while I was in high school. I also have worked as a nanny for children with special needs, so I excel at giving compassionate, thoughtful care and structuring activities around the needs of each client-- whether biped or quadruped. I'm comfortable around all dog and cat breeds, and I love spending time with them. I live in a very quiet, well-shaded area of Charles Village that is perfect for walking dogs. I also am comfortable walking cats, and I have a large, beautiful garden that any pet would enjoy exploring. I'm also happy to take pets on excursions to dog parks or other places of special interest. If caring for your pet from your place of residence, I'm also happy to do lots of walks and playtime. I have a cat whom I care for very conscientiously; she eats better than I do! I'm familiar with the requirements of healthful, grain-free or raw diets and caring for pets with health issues. As a kid, I helped care for two litters of puppies from birth to eight weeks; administered meds and first aid to our dogs throughout their lives; and cared for beloved senior dogs as they went through kidney failure and cancer before they passed away. I'm equipped to handle the full range of a pet's needs.
