Pet care experience
I’ve been pet sitting since I was 10 years old and it’s one of my favorite things to do. I now have two cats but grew up with large, active dogs and enjoyed obedience and agility training with them. Originally from Maryland, I also have years of horse training experience. I’m very active and would be happy to walk or run with your dog if that works for them. I apply my knowledge in positive dog training to all walks and daily interactions..

Our dogs love Gwyneth! She is awesome at managing our high energy dogs, a 6-year-old German shorthair pointer and a 12-year-old hound mix. They love seeing her and she treats them as if they were her own pups. Gwyneth has even helped the pointer learn how to walk nicely on a leash and to not take off after every squirrel he sees! Our hound mix can be dog reactive and she effectively and patiently manages that as well. Gwyneth is caring, reliable and always on time. We highly recommend her and know our pups are safe and loved when she’s with them.
Gwyneth was great with my cats! She provided cute photos and updates putting my mind at ease. She left the house clean and tidy, better than I left it! When she’s come back to let sit the cats have been excited to see her.

I currently have 2 cats at home. I play with them often and ensure they always have food stocked and a clean litter box. I also enjoy taking them outside or on short car rides to help with desensitization. With my dogs in Maryland I love to stay active with them. We go on plenty of walks and hikes every time I’m home. I also prioritize cleanliness and I’m sure to wash food bowls and floors before I come back to Minnesota.

Let me know if you pet has any conditions or behaviors I should be aware of. I have a reactive dog at home so I know how to avoid and react in situations if necessary. If they have any fears I should be mindful of or a favorite toy to play with!
A typical day
I know the importance of physical and mental stimulation! With your pet likely missing you I’ll be sure to keep our interactions fun and entertaining. With exercise, games, and training (if desired) I look forward to having fun with them.

Availability
I am wrapping up my last semester at UMN and the majority of my classes are online at this point. My schedule is extremely flexible and I also have a car for transportation. I would be able to add pet care into my routine with ease.
