Hi! My name is Gwen. I am a veterinary technician at an animal hospital and have been in the industry for 15 years, pet sitting for 20 years. I'm extremely caring, kind, professional, responsible and always put the needs of the pet first. I have experience with all kinds of animals including dogs and cats, small animals, and exotics such as birds and reptiles. I have grown up with animals and have been very involved with them my whole life so I know the importance of knowing your pet is well cared for when you're not at home. I love to be outside, explore different parks and lakes, any areas that would be fun for an animal to experience. I am committed to providing outstanding service and with my veterinary technician background know what to look for in case of illness. I love helping animals and will take care of your pet like they were my own. Always open to special requests. I'm currently pet sitting full time and am always available so I can tailor my schedule to your pet’s needs and level of care.

Gwen was amazing with our two senior dogs. She sent lots of adorable photos. It was great to arrive home and find the dogs both relaxed and happy. I highly recommend her!
Gwen took care of our 3 cats and our house for almost 3 weeks as an in-home sitter. She took amazing care of everyone and everything. She communicated daily and sent pictures. Our cats were happy and well adjusted when we returned. Gwen has a calm and sweet presence, which is much needed with 2 of our cats being nervous ferrels. Our cats were happy, we were happy. A+ all around.
Gwen was awesome! She came to our cabin in the mountains to stay with our 2 dogs. Unfortunately while she was here we had a major snowstorm and our power went out and our generator stopped working. She was able to go out with our neighbor and get the generator restarted. She proved to not only be great with our dogs but also proved that she is very capable in emergency situations. We look forward to having her back to stay with Kody & Kiwi (hopefully without a snowstorm….)🐶🥰🐶

I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and am happy to be available as often as your pet needs depending on their level of care.

Safety, trust & environment
I live across the street from the ocean with many trails nearby. I am also close to small neighborhoods and dog parks. I am extremely attentive and accommodating.
A typical day
I like to take my cue for what your pet needs from you and your kiddo. If your pet is high energy I know lots of beautiful spots to go walking, swimming or with a ball or a frisbee. If your pet is senior and doesn’t love exercise I’m happy to just hang with them at home and make them comfortable

- I am happy to provide whatever type of care will make your kiddo happy and healthy. I have no breed preferences and am open to all kinds of animals. I always ask for good contact information, any allergies or medications, safety around other animals and a number for your veterinarian in case of emergency.
