If There's A Dog, Count Me In!

I’ll never forget the day my dad brought home our first family dog. I was only 6, but it was one of the best days of my life! We named her Tippy because she was all black, except for the white on the tip of her tail. She was the most beautiful four-legged animal I had ever seen and I loved her from the moment I saw her. She was immediately part of our family and she taught me how to love unconditionally. She was my best friend and is the reason why I’ve always owned a dog. Now, I have 2 Australian Shepherds named Bear & Lily and a cat named OBJ, but we all him Obi for short. I have also rescued and fostered dogs, and was able to find all my foster dogs good homes. I’ve also volunteered at a vet clinic cleaning kennels, feeding, watering, and bathing animals. What I love most about dog’s is their unconditional love. They don’t care how you look or what you do. They love you no matter what. There isn’t a better feeling then coming home from a long day at work or a vacation knowing your furbaby is waiting for you to come home safe. That’s why I want to be a pet sitter. No matter if it’s just for a quick potty break or if it’s a week of vacation, I want to care for your furbaby so you can relax. I know how it feels to be worried about my dog being home alone for too long or trusting someone to care for them. I’m here to help ease that worry. I love all animals equally and I treat them as my own.

Gwen and Chad very kindly took care of walking and feeding my dogs on short notice this past weekend. They made every effort to make sure the dogs were walked often and received some social time with them. When I returned home, they were both happy, healthy, and relaxed. I will definitely hire them again!
Gwen was so warm and friendly and accommodating. She took great care of the dogs and I felt very relaxed leaving for the weekend.
Gwen has had animals her whole life and has always showed much compassion for them. What is even better about her is that she shows the same compassion for other people's pets as well. Your pets will always been in good hands with Gwen.
When Gwen says she loves ALL animals, she really means it! Upon meeting her you can see how much she really cares for others fur kids. Her availability is great, and it's nice to know that you can count on her for excellent service while you are away. I highly recommend her for any pet services you need!

Each client and pet gets a Meet & Greet before I book a service. I like to meet everyone in person first to make sure we are a great match! I love to get to know ALL about your furbaby and even about their fur parents. I also bring a card for you to fill out and leave for me during my stay or drop-in service. This provides me with important info I may need while you are away. I make sure to send pictures, notes and respond to any calls or texts while you are away. I also maintain and respect your home. I also ask for any information regarding their feeding schedule, medications, allergies, and nervous habits. I love all animals no matter their breed or size or age!
A typical day
Not only do I love all animals, but I love giving them special attention! I can give belly rubs for days and snuggle all night. I can go for long walks, play fetch, or just lounge on the couch. I can give your pooch massages and even bathe them so they look and smell good when their parents come home! I can teach basic commands using words and hand signals, and I am becoming CPR certified. Ask about my homemade treats and birthday cakes! I mostly stay within your community or around your home. I like to take dogs where they are most comfortable, especially if they have a routine! However if you don’t have a safe place for walks, my community has lots of room and we even have a dog park! I’m always up for a good walk, no matter the day or time. And my community has a dog park that I like to visit, too!
