As a former pet owner, I know how hard it is to find someone to take care of your loved one while understanding and following what seem like simple steps to show your pet the care you would yourself. I’ve had the worst possible experience myself when I returned from a vacation and found my dear Ian on the verge of passing away because the sitter didn’t take the time to engage with my cat. Ian stopped eating, which can be common with cats who feel their parent deserted them. The sitter didn't look for him when they came to check food and water supplies and since Ian was not the only cat, it was not noticeable that he was not eating. Had the sitter sought out my pet, Ian might still be here. I’ve also had a pet with medical issues and later found that a different sitter was not feeding him when specified, which was critical to his health being maintained. Fortunately, this situation was not as traumatic as Ian's. Believe me, I know how important your pet is and will be diligent in caring for your loved one! My full-time job is being a nanny, which I have enjoyed doing for 27 years. I have tons of snuggles left to give and will give your pet the attention they deserve as a fur baby and family member, in your home, where they are already comfortable and secure! I will care for your pet as if they where my own. I have experience taking care of cats, dogs and horses. I'm open to caring for other pets too - in fact, I have plans to take care of a house pig soon and am genuinely looking forward to that experience! I look forward to working with you!
