I have been working on Rover on and off for over ten years now, as well as independently as a pet sitter for family, friends and repeat customers. I am comfortable with almost all animals and have experience with a variety of exotic friends from furry to feathered. I am comfortable medicating most animals with pills, topics, or liquids. I always love to send photos of my time with your pets to help keep your mind at ease, whether your gone for a few days or just grinding through the day at work. I am a stay a home mom to a little girl who loves to go for walks! We go out everyday and would love to drop in on your pets or take them for a stroll with us. For pets not comfortable with kids (she would not be engaging with your pets, only in her carrier or stroller) I am also available but may require a bit more notice so she can visit Grandma.

Great! Super quick communication before and during our time out of town. Made leaving town really easy.
Gwen was a great dog and bird sitter. My dog even had his nails painted a few times with different colors. She sent me really cute pictures everyday. I really looked forward to her cute pictures and captions when I was on vacation. She stayed at my house and even my plants looked better when I got back. She gave my dog his various medications and kept him well spoiled like he is used to. I saw pictures of him cuddled up with her on the couch and on the bed. I will be asking her to come again in the future.

When it comes to your pet, I try to follow any guidelines and routines you maintain in your house to make sure they are as comfortable as possible in your absence. Each animal is different and has their own needs, and as their owner you know them best! As much info as you think is needed for them I am happy to absorb and follow to make sure they have the best experience possible with their sitter.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or requirements that might be important during our time together, especially if they are reactive towards other animals that I should be aware of during walks or outside times. It is my goal to make this experience as familiar as possible for your pet, so anything you might usually do for them please let me know!
A typical day
I love going to Volunteer Park and Cal Anderson as I am a Capital Hill girl. I have lived in Seattle my whole life and know lots of places to visit or ways to find good parks and walks in each neighborhood. I also enjoy just lounging about and providing pets and attention for less active pets who just need some company.

Availability
I am available all day, especially if my baby is able to accompany me. I fully understand if you are uncomfortable with her joining me in walking or visiting your pets, but it does put some limitations on my availability. I can usually get a babysitting midday (11-3 or so) and Wed, Thur, Fri and Sat evenings (5-7).
