Pet care experience
I'm a dog lover. I have a 9-year old male Siberian Husky and two beautiful rescue cats. I used to train and show my dog in AKC shows. I have a fenced yard and a large dog door. I work full time but will be home on weekends and over the Holiday Season 2018 for Christmas and New Years. Focusing on providing services in the Aquia Harbor neighborhood or MCB Quantico. I understand dogs with special diets (my dog is on a raw diet) and medication needs. I am not yet certified in Pet CPR or animal First Aid. My home is pet friendly all the time. For overnight sitting my cats will be separated from guest dogs to reduce any potential stress on them.

Gusty is a natural with dogs. She is a dog owner herself and is one of the most caring and responsible owners I have ever seen. This attentive and amiable nature extends past her own pup to other's as well; I have seen her interact with dozens of dogs over the years with an innate ease. Due to this -- her extreme punctuality, attention to detail, and reliable character -- I would not hesitate for a moment to have her take care of my animal.
Gusty did a fantastic job pupppy sitting my Lab mix. He was just worn out from having fun and using her great backyard as a racetrack in between playing fetch. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a truly interactive and caring pet sitter to contact Gusty.
Gusty is very personable and very kind. She was able to cat-sit my cat on short notice. Normally my cat, Mischief, is afraid of meeting new people. But I was shocked when he walked straight up to Gusty and was even asking for a rub! Gusty has done a wonderful job for caring for my kitty. She even asked if he was on a schedule and even asked if he had any allergies to foods. The next time I’m going out of town, I will definitely give Gusty a call. Thank you again Gusty!!!
Gusty is extremely reliable and you can tell loves working with the animals. I believe she said she had a few of her own. When mine needed medication and special care, she made sure he got everything he needed. She had no problem scheduling him at the last minute when things came up

Belly rubs, ear scratches or ball throwing? My ability to safely walk and maintain control of a dog is currently limited to 50 pounds. Unfortunately, I am not able to sit or walk extra-large breeds at this time. I have a fixed adult male dog in my household who gets along with everyone. If your puppy sometimes doesn't get along with male dogs we'll need to do a meet and greet to make sure I'm a good fit for you.
