We are a loving family with a true passion for dogs! Over the years, we have provided care and love to various breeds. Our current furry family member is Ollie, a 6-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer who is full of energy and love. Please note that Ollie is not neutered. In early 2023, Ollie underwent surgery for a spine injury and is now on a steady road to recovery. He is making progress and receiving regular therapy, but still requires some assistance in his movements. Both Marian and I work from home, which means we can offer continuous companionship and care for your beloved pet. Your furry friend will never have to worry about being alone for extended periods of time. Please keep in mind that we have limited spots available for doggy daycare and boarding each day. To secure a spot, we recommend booking well in advance, especially during school vacation weeks and summertime. At our place in Sharon, we have a spacious fenced-in backyard where daily activities include hanging out together, playing in the yard, and working on commands if needed. All activities take place within the fenced areas of our property, ensuring your dog's safety. During dog boarding, your pup will have the freedom to sleep wherever they are most comfortable on the main level of our house, typically in the living room, den, or kitchen floor. While bringing their own bed is highly recommended for familiarity and comfort, it is not required. Before your pet stays with us, we kindly request that they meet the following criteria: - Excellent behavior with other dogs and people. - Good health, well-groomed, and with trimmed nails. - House trained. - Must be neutered or spayed. For dog boarding, our drop-off times are between 5:30 PM and no later than 7:30 PM, and pick-ups are scheduled by noon to avoid overlapping with other stays. If you have specific plans that require a different schedule, we can discuss early drop-offs or late pick-ups for a half-day fee each, extending the stay by one night prior to or after the scheduled stay. For doggy daycare, you can drop off your furry friend between 7:45–8:45 AM and pick up between 4:15–5:15 PM. We are excited to connect with you and your beloved best friend soon! Our dog Ramey stayed for 5 days. It was our first time using Rover. Gus and Marian are very knowledgeable about dogs, took great care of our dog and provided daily updates while we were away. Would definately use them again.
This was my first time leaving my dog, Happy, with Marian and Gus. He had a GREAT time!! Marian sent me pics while we were away for the weekend, and Happy was - happy! I was a little nervous leaving our dog with someone we didn't know, but I liked their profile, they had great reviews, and it worked out so, so, so much better than boarding him at a kennel (which is what we did in the past). He came home happy, clean, and well-cared for. I would definitely book with Marian and Gus again!! Thank you!!
