Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs. I have had two of my own dogs as a adult both of which have moved on due to old age. I live 10 minutes from the Oakland hills and know both on leash and off leash trails like the back of my hand. I enjoy walking with the pups in nature and often am asked to dog sit by friends. I have a secure fenced yard with doggie door so your dog always has access to the yard if you are okay with that. My house is very pet friendly and quiet. There are no other pets, people or children in my home.

Gretchen took great care of our two dogs plus all of our plants and our house!! Our dogs love her and she’s quick to response to all messages. Gretchen stayed at our place for two weeks while we were traveling, we came back to a clean house and happy dogs. Will definitely rebook with her again!

A typical day
I love to take dog's up to the hills for hikes, on or off leash. Point Isabel or Lake Merritt are wonderful walks for the right pups as well.

Availability
I currently go into the office two days a week and am home the rest of the week. There is a secure fenced yard and dog door so if you are okay with it your dog can have 24 hour access to the yard.
