Hi! We are Gretchen and Kent an animal loving professional couple based in Arlington. We both grew up with dogs (border collie and German shepherd) and currently have a very outgoing car,Biju. She is the rare kitty who gets along with both dogs and cats and would love to spend time with both. Gretchen’s dog growing up had some behavioral issues so she is used to navigating dogs who are a little shy or hesitant around other animals. Kent has a flexible schedule and can be available as needed. We both work from home. We included a couple of photos of dogs we’ve cared for in the past :). Gretchen currently works from home 9-5 and is available for lunchtime walks, house sitting, and evening and early morning walks. Kent also works from home but has more flexibility and can be available as needed during the day. We live in a very dog friendly apartment complex and are very open to dog/cat sitting during the day and home visits. There are several parks and trails nearby and a dog park nearby. We think it would be best to just do overnights for cats, but depending on the dog we can be flexible! It’s a great apartment if you looking for puppy/dog socialization.
