***Please read before booking: due to personal circumstances, I will need to prioritize house sits with more than one animal*** I have taken care of multiple types of dogs, at varying sizes since a young age. I have also taken care of frogs and snakes. I currently have two cats, one of which needed special around the clock care as a kitten, and a dog. Experience feeding, bathing, giving medicine, force-feeding, training, and walking cats and dogs. Comfortable with animals of all shapes and sizes, feeding a variety of diets (including insects and pinkies), and handling. I'm currently working full-time remotely. My schedule is fairly flexible, and I can work remotely on the go (portable work laptop). Technically available 24/7, excluding work events scheduled in advance, and I have to go to the office during the day on Tuesdays. I am very attuned to the needs of various types of animals. I believe playtime and bonding are a requirement, and safety is a priority. A supervised pet is a safe and happy pet, indoor and outdoor! I also believe in reinforcing the training preferences of the owner and will ask you how you prefer your pet to be disciplined and rewarded while you are away. With naughty pets of my own, I am used to checking in on pets that like alone time, and listening for bad behavior (scratching, eating miscellaneous items, playing with dangerous items, etc.)

Greta was absolutely fantastic. We had to leave the country for 10 days and Greta managed our high maintenance 3 month old puppy and 4 month old kitten while we were gone. She is very sweet and funny, and sent us daily updates with photos which was super reassuring and entertaining. The one day she needed to go to the office, her fiance Vinny stepped in and he was also lovely. 10/10 would recommend.
Greta has been patient and caring with my finicky boy! He had his best walk today and is now tired!
Gretalyn took excellent care of my two pups. She did a meet and greet to get to know them before we left, which really helped. She was great about keeping me updated and sending pics of them. My pups really loved the quality time and attention she gave them. Will definitely use her again!
Gretalyn will take excellent care of your pet! Not only is she reliable and communicative, she takes each pet’s needs into consideration and understands them on a deeper level. My skiddish foster dog warmed up to her almost immediately. They understand that she’s good people. I highly recommend Gretalyn!

Before providing my services, I would like to meet your pet and get to know you as you typically interact with them, so that I can mirror your reward and discipline methods, and ultimately provide the best experience for your furbaby! I prefer to walk any pet outside on a leash or with tight supervision in fenced yards. I will need veterinarian information and important phone numbers just in case an emergency arises. I am experienced with force-feeding and dispensing medication for pets, but will prefer that we all do it together so that I know what methods your pet prefers to feel the most comfortable.

I must know their behavioral history, medical history, human/animal preferences, food preferences, dietary restrictions, typical commands/training style, and favorite toy/treat/pet spot. This way, I will be able to respond accordingly to a variety of situations.
A typical day
Stimulation is so important for all types of animals. Depending on activity level, I will set a minimum play time for your pet and spend that time exploring with them and engaging them with their favorite toys. Many dogs enjoy regular training, so I will give your pup simple tasks throughout the visit (and lots of pets or treats, depending on your preferences). I enjoy hikes in nature, so I would love to bring your pup on a hike if you are comfortable and they are willing and able!

I'm currently working full-time remotely with one in office day almost always on Tuesdays. I don't mind late nights or early mornings, and my job is fairly flexible with my schedule.
