Hi! I’m so glad you found our profile! My name is Greta and along with my partner Andy, we have been taking care dogs through Rover for about 5 years. Although we both have many more years of experience before Rover. We absolutely love being dog sitters. We have no animals or children ourselves and we love reaping the rewards of getting to meet and spend time with all kinds of dogs. We both work from home and have a fully fenced in backyard. We both grew up with dogs. I grew up on a farm as an only child. At a very young age I developed a very special bond with animals and often l feel like dogs, cats and chickens are my kin. Andy grew up with beagles and has a huge place in his heart for hounds. I grew up with herding dogs which match well with my outside driven energy! But we love all breeds of dogs, big and small! We treat the dogs who stay with us like our family. Dogs are allowed the same freedom as they would at home. We love taking them on walks, snuggling them, pampering them with brushes and treats, dog parks (if owner says it’s okay), vacations (ask us about taking Bo or Nutmeg to our cabin!) and caring for them with the utmost attention and kindness. We also never take more than one household at a time, ensuring your dog will get 100% of our attention and affection. We absolutely love our roles at “aunt and uncle” to dogs.
