Hi! I’m new to Rover but not new to caring for dogs! I have been fostering dogs since May 2020 and have since fostered 30+ dogs. I have experience with many types of dogs, including: male/female, puppies/adult/senior dogs, dogs with medical conditions, and dogs sizes 10 lbs to 110 lbs. Since I do not have a dog of my own, I have been able to help shelters by fostering dogs who need more care due to their medical conditions, dogs that have never lived inside and need to be trained, and dogs who just need a little love from being in the shelter too long. Fostering has been very rewarding and taught me so much. I now want to take the skills I have learned while fostering dogs for shelters and put them to use watching others' dogs! I have basic dog training experience, too.

He’s literally the best! My one dog is shy and to see that Jack was happy to see Greg after I booked with him again made my heart happy. My dogs are so comfortable with him. This man even helped bring the dogs back to me when I had car problems. He is kind, understanding and has a big heart for dogs! I will book with him again, best Rover sitter out there.
One of the best sitters! Sent a lot of pics and kept me updated, super convenient and easy to drop them off and pick them up. I would love to have Greg watch my dogs again soon!
Greg and his partner are absolutely fantastic! I have peace of mind when Ophelia is with them and get plenty of pictures and updates. He exercises her and makes sure she’s very well taken care of, and the dogs he’s been fostering the last two times we’ve booked with him are great company for my pup. She gets her very own vacation while I’m on mine.
I can’t thank Greg enough! I’m so happy for the updates throughout the day. I have to say I definitely trust Greg with Charlie and to know she’s safe and well taken care of. I highly recommend!!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, likes/dislikes/preferences, and/or daily routines so they are more comfortable while staying with me. I have noticed small things like feeding and walking at the same times as their regular home routine and having an item (like a dog bed or soft toy) that smells like them will make dogs more comfortable when staying in a new place. If your dog has a routine or special item, please let me know and I will follow the daily routine as best I can. Other dogs: While I do not have any personal dogs of my own, that does not mean there are no other dogs staying with me. Generally, I will have 1 foster dog and 0-2 Rover dogs at any given time. Please know I may accept bookings from multiple households at a time. If this is something you are not comfortable with, let me know when you book. I will let you know of any other dogs who are planned to stay with me. Please let me know how your dog does around other dogs and new people. If your dog is not dog friendly, I require advanced notice so I can ensure no other dogs will be with me during their stay. I charge 1.5 times the regular fee if I am unable to take other bookings. Currently, I am unable to accommodate any non-dog friendly dogs. If you have any questions or special requests, please reach out! I am happy to accommodate where possible.
A typical day
A typical day: I live a block away from Trolley Square and love walking around where there are plenty of people for the dog to meet! If the dog is shy or not great with other people, I walk around Brandywine Park which is a nice 25 minute loop around the Brandywine River. Hikes, trips to the park, and playing with toys inside the house are all other things I like to do with dogs! Toys and Activities: If your dog loves a particular activity or toy, please let me know and I will try my best to do it with them! I have a massive bin with every kind of dog toy imaginable from squeaker toys, stuffed toys, pull ropes, tough/chew-resistant toys, kongs, and puzzle-toys! Dogs will have access to pick toys from the bin during their stay.

Availability
Schedule: I work 10 minutes away from my home, 3 days in-person and 2 work from home. I work 9-5 and my partner works 2pm-midnight, so dogs would be left at home generally a maximum of 2 hours a day. My in-office work days are flexible, so I can adjust which days of the week I work-from-home or in-office in order to take care of dogs as needed. Additionally, I’m able to work a half day in the office and finish it from home if dogs need extra care.
