Pet care experience
I've moved back to MN and pet sitting again starting 2024! Definite soft spot for senior dogs but love them all. Adopted my first dog 20 years ago and at one point had four going on walks, park and lake trips. Currently have a 2 year old Husky/Shepherd mix. I am a veterinarian so medical conditions and medications should not be a problem (#14917).
Reviews
Kahski always has a great time with Greg and Roo! He's always taking him to the dog park, lots of walking and play. It's always a vacation for Kahski too!
Greg took on the admirable task of watch an adolescent husky in muddy season and deserves all the credit for it! He sent daily updates and photos which were much appreciated. My pup came home tired and well cared for.
Greg was great! Our high energy pup was well cared for with lots of exercise and love.
Greg was great! He was very responsive to messages and sent picture updates. He has a nice large fenced in yard. My dog came home tired and happy! Would definitely book with Greg again!

House is a split-level with carpeted stairs. There is a dog door to the deck which has stairs down to the yard so the dogs are free to go outside most anytime. Dogs are welcome on the bed and furniture. Fresh, clean water is always available. The backyard is completely fenced in with a 5-6' wood privacy fence. My dog demands playing fetch as much as possible so we are outside quite frequently.

Information Greg W. would like to know about your pet
Any medical conditions, current medications, whether or not they are good with other dogs, activities they enjoy, their typical daily routine, etc. would be good to know. Anything you think is important really. Please tell me if your dog is known to chew things up. Definitely appreciate having the Rover care instructions filled out with how much and how frequently your dog is fed and veterinary info! Some people choose provide care instructions on paper which is great too. I occasionally am asked "what should I bring." For sure: food, collar/harness, medication. Optional ideas: treats, toys, bedding, bowls, etc. I have plenty of toys, leashes and treats though.
A typical day
We can go on neighborhood walks, dog parks if there is one close by that you and your dog are already comfortable with, play ball, frisbee, lounge outside. We will typically go for a walk each day for about 30-45 minutes unless the weather is bad or your dog is one that non-stop pulls excessively. If you know your dog is not great on a leash they will still get plenty of backyard running in (otherwise Gentle Leaders work well for many dogs). The yard running around and chasing each other actually tires dogs out more than a leash walk could. I will send an update usually once a day, but can do morning and evening updates if requested.

Availability
Currently I am still building up my business so I am home a lot but do work at clinic full days sometimes. You are welcome to contact me and inquire about days that my calendar shows as unavailable or you have multiple dogs and the calendar does not show enough openings. I will do my best for future stays with dogs that have stayed here in the past.
