I grew up with Golden retrievers my whole life, and absolutely love dogs. Every dog that people have said isn't great with people or they don't like men has not been an issue for me. I understand how to approach a dog and make them feel comfortable with me. I hope to adopt a dog sometime soon, but am in between jobs and going to graduate school and need to find a more stable environment in which to raise my own dog. Since I am about to go to graduate school, I am trying to dog sit to make a little more cash on the side to help try and get myself through school. I am an incredibly active person and love any and all outdoor activities. I enjoy hiking and being outdoors in general, so if you have an active dog, that fits in perfectly with my lifestyle. I love to play fetch with dogs as well. My dog Sophie LOVES fetch, but she is a little older now and it hurts her knees to go :(. I have been very nomadic for the past couple years of my life, so I have no problem traveling around. I live very close to a very large dog park, and would be happy to take your dog, or if they are not terribly social but still active I would take them for a hike. I'm adaptable and am happy to meet any requirements or wants for your companion. I am currently at home working for myself, which means I have an open schedule. There is no job currently that I need to report to, so this allows me complete and utter freedom over my schedule. I'm starting to dog sit to help out my clients who do have day jobs or other obligations. From this I can guarantee a quality amount of time directed towards your pet. I can commit any amount of time from just letting your dog out, to going on a hike or to the dog park together.
