Pet care experience
I’ve owned dogs over 50 years, virtually my entire life. And all were rescue dogs, from all walks of life. I’ve learned how to deal with all different kinds of types, personalities, and temperaments. I have pet sat many dogs (and a handful of cats) over the years; often friends, family, and neighbors alike. So I can handle most any breed, and work with high-strung/anxious dogs as well. I’m a firm believer in encouragement instead of punishment with dogs. My experience has allowed me to quickly learn individual dogs needs and preferences.

Greg was great with our dog, would definitely recommend! He took him on short notice too, really saved us!
Goose stayed with Greg for a few days and experience was fantastic. He kept me in the loop with a video and pictures of how Goose was doing. He’s very accommodating, and I would absolutely recommend him.

**I generally prefer to only take on one dog at a time.** However, there is a limit to a MAXIMUM of just three dogs at any given time (usually less). I live by myself (with my son 50%) and own my 1000sq/ft home, with a modest fully-fenced backyard. Dogs can have full run of the home (except for my son’s bedroom), as well as the backyard, and I have an open door/backyard policy during the day. Same is true of overnight stays, unless an owner insists on crating. Additionally, my subdivision has our own 23-acre private canyon. I take dogs for 20-30 minute walks twice a day. Water is constantly available in multiple spots, and food is carefully segregated.

Please bring their food, any medication if needed, and any preferred bedding. Please do not bring any toys, though, as they can easily get destroyed.
A typical day
Every day there would be multiple canyon walks (the canyon also has a leash-free fenced-in area as well), along with play time in the backyard.

Availability
I have my own dog, a 3y/o 100% friendly lab/hound. My part-work (from home) schedule is very flexible, so can I give all dogs a lot of constant attention through the day. I take dogs on a walk at least twice a day to my local canyon (more info on that below).
