Pet care experience
I am a retired K-9 handler and instructor from South Florida. I worked a drug dog for 11 years and a bomb dog for 9 years. I moved to GA in 2016 and currently work for the county. I have extensive training experience and can also offer training for your dog(s). I have two dogs now, a Beagle named Peanut, and a 3 legged mix named 3-Step. I rescued 3-Step in 2013 when he was run over by an AMTRAK train and I found him with his leg cut off. He is the sweetest dog ever and became a member of my family immediately. I am currently working from home most days, and if I am gone there will always be someone at the house. There are two cats here but they are kept in a separate part of the house. I have used Greg 3 times now and he has done a wonderful job each time. My dog is a senior who needs to go out in the middle of the night and Greg never minded at all. I got updates with pictures daily and always felt like she was treated wonderfully. His dogs are very well-behaved and sweet and my dog also got along with them just fine.
I was overall very pleased with my first experience using Rover. Greg was very easy to work with. He kindly agreed to pick my pups up from my house with a somewhat last-minute request due to a change in my schedule. He also sent me pictures of my dogs along with updates over the weekend showing that they were enjoying their stay.
Greg was easy to communicate with and kind. He took great care of our dog and sent daily pictures to update us. He has an awesome wooded fenced-in back yard and his pups are super friendly.
My dog had a great time at Greg's house! His dogs were very friendly and immediately got along well with Leslie. He has a very large fenced in yard, lots of room for exploring, and a comfy set-up for dogs in his home. Leslie was definitely well cared for during her stay. Greg was easy to work with, very friendly, flexible, and knowledgeable about dogs. I would definitely use Greg again for another homestay and I highly recommend him!
