Mutt Lovin Brooklynite in WBurg

Pet care experience

Young professional couple in North Williamsburg. We would love to the opportunity to have your dog join the family for a few days! I work for a non-profit with flexible hours and my fiancee teachers kindergarten. I've grown up with dogs since day one. In fact, my parents' dog was so jealous when I came along that he ended up sharing the crib with me some nights. Since then, dogs have been a constant in my life. I've grown up with mutts, poodles, and labs. I also own one myself - Maya, a three year-old terrier mix who's sweet as can be and would love to be friends with your pooch. I work for a non-profit that allows me to work from home 1-2 days a week (always on Fridays). I'm easy to get in touch with through text, call, or email and am generally available from 9am-9pm. I live with my fiancée Gabbie, and a typical dog day at our apartment consists of a morning walk and feeding, a post-lunch stroll, park time in the late afternoon (see below for nearby parks), and one more walk for good measure before bed - but it all depends on whatever makes your pet happy! We live in a pet-friendly apartment building in a neighborhood where it seems everyone has a dog. I have had my share of administering medication. Pill pockets are easiest! I have also done eye drops and ear drops.

Grant was incredible with Ainslie! He went above and beyond to make sure she felt comfortable and safe since she's very anxious and scared. Ainslie and his dog, Maya, got along extremely well and I know that Ainslie felt right at home with them. Grant sent us daily updates and photos which we appreciated greatly. Grant is highly recommended and he will be my first sitter option when we go away again.

Lucy had a really great time with Grant and his super great pup Maya. They played endlessly on their huge roof deck and I feel very comfortable leaving Lucy with them again. Great with the updates/photos as well. A+

Grant was the best dogsitter I could have hoped for! I could tell my dog Charlie was so comfortable with him right from the start and, from the photos I received during his stay, it was clear Charlie was having a fantastic time with him and his sweet dog, Maya. Charlie was a happy dog when I picked him up and I could not have been more pleased with Grant's care and thoughtfulness throughout the whole experience. I hope Charlie has a chance to stay with Grant again sometime whenever we are coming through Williamsburg!

Zach had a great stay with Grant. Plenty of updates. Great space near the park. Had to unexpectedly extend the stay by one day and Grant was totally accommodating. Thanks!!

A typical day

We're in dog park heaven here in Williamsburg. Within 5-15 minute walks (and in order of proximity): we've got McCaren Park with separate runs for large and small dogs, the wide open Macri Triangle, a brand new park down by the East River park, and the hidden gem of Greenpoint, McGolrick Park. Also, if your dog likes to go on roller-blading walks or play fetch/frisbee, I'm more than happy to accommodate either.
