All dogs love the Placer PackLife!
Pet care experience
There is an old story of parents telling their children that they had to send their dog to a place in the country to live out the rest of their lives (when they were at the end of theirs). It was a happy place, where they get to run across fields, play with other dogs, and live happily ever after. Now, this is not "Dog heaven", but it's pretty close. Please read, just a few, of my reviews... In addition to 7 years of dog-boarding experience, I have fostered around 100 dogs for Foothill Dog Rescue of the Sierras. We take dogs from high-kill shelters in the central valley, rehabilitate them, and place them for adoption. So your dog will help me rehabilitate the dogs that I foster. At the same time, helping your dog with his/her socialization. So no matter what your dog(s) are like, all tend to fit in, and thrive, here. From the meet & greet, to the pack interaction, and from all the pictures and updates, you will know that you need not worry about how your best friend is doing. In fact, several of my more enthusiastic clients, show displeasure when leaving (like children leaving summer camp). Please look through my profile pictures- you will see how my pack spends it's day, and what your dog(s) will experience! Dogs are my (photo) muse. I will send frequent, and sometimes, great pictures of your dog enjoying the country life. Let your best friend spend your next absence in a fun, well balanced pack. Your dog will have acres of oak-covered foothills to explore, with a professionally supervised, pack of dogs. Return from your next absence, to a VERY HAPPY and tired dog. Arrange a Meet & Greet today! I am here most of the time. And on the rare times I do, there is always a pack of dogs here to keep themselves company. There is a dog door, so the they can go in and out at will, to a large yard. They can be crated at night, or sleep on dog beds.

Grant is the best. Full stop. Appa and I are lucky to be his clients.
Grant’s place is a dream life for a dog! Sully loves it there!! He loves Grant too. Grant sends fun pictures and videos every day! Amazing place! Sully would be disappointed to stay anywhere else.
Vinnie had another great time staying with Grant. I can go away knowing Vinnie is being loved and well cared for with Grant! THANK YOU again
Grant was FANTASTIC! Our dog had never been in doggie day care or boarding (2yo) and Grant helped to supervise her very closely, allow a gradual introduction with other dogs and make sure not to allow any aggression from any other dogs. He exercised the dogs outside and let them stay outside if they wished during daytime instead of crating at all, which was great! Grant also sent pictures and videos to ease my worried mind. I HIGHLY recommend Grant as a dogsitter!!

Pick up and Drop Offs are between 8am and 5pm Please let me know: 1) Any "bad" habits -food aggression/fear/ect. 3) Feeding schedule 4) Where does he/she sleep at home... be honest! Crate/Dog bed/Couch/Under the covers with it's head on your pillow???? I will try to make your dog comfortable, but a great dog behaviorist once said, "there must be rules, boundaries & limitations". I do allow animals on furniture, but only when I say so. They are not allowed up - uninvited. And something else to consider. While I can provide special care for dogs, like medications, food supplements, ect. If your dog is in need of convalescing, from injury, or illness, with restricted movement, this may not be the best place for him/her, until fully recovered. Taking the "healthy" pack for a run, and making one stay behind, to rest, is not very practical.
A typical day
There are numerous, extended walks or runs (after the golf cart or Gator) around the 5 acres of fenced property, throughout the day, as well as hours of dog-play, tennis ball chasing. All placerpack-mates are exercised, played with, til their heart's content. I recently had 2 dogs here, that were equipped with electronic tracking collars, unbeknownst to me. They both averaged over 10 miles per day. Then it's home for rest, relaxation, and caring, loving attention til evening We always go for a short, at least, walk after dinner... Regardless of your dogs level of fitness, my goal is to return to you, a happy and tired dog. Moms & Dads often tell me it takes a couple of days to "recover" from a dog's time in the PackLife. NOTE: Your dog will be living a country, "ranch", PackLife. Country hazards like, blackberry thorns, fox tails (grass seeds), pollen allergies, wire fencing, and various other "country dangers" are around. Of course, I will do everything I can to prevent any health issues for your dog, but you need to understand there are inherent risks to "the country life".
