Pet care experience
I have been a dog parent for almost all my life and have a great instinct to reading what a dog is trying to say. I recently am dog widowed, my beloved Finnegan passed at home naturally after a long fight with a degenerating trachea. I am not ready to adopt again, but would love to walk your dog instead.

Finley was a little unsure the first 2 days but Grant got him warmed up and he was very good with him . He just went blind and is still frying to find his way around. Grant was very prompt every day and we certainly would use him in the future.
Grant did such a fantastic job with Una. You could tell when we got home that she had been well looked after. Grant did a great job of keeping us updated on the stay, including pics which is always nice. He works really well with senior dogs. We look forward to his next stay.

It is important for me to know your dogs temperament before walking or house sitting. I am open to taking care of all types of dogs, even ones that can be difficult, I have worked with dogs before and I have owned a dog almost all my life. If they are timid I will be sure to approach them with extra care, and if they are aggressive I will make sure to portray confidence and friendliness, but its always important to have a heads up if I can.
A typical day
I am a regular hiker and gym bunny, I try to do both things as many days a week as possible. I love walking along the wash near my house in south Palm Springs. I also like the hikes at Araby Trailhead and North Lykken trailhead.

I am currently semi retired with a lot of free time so I have availability 7 days a week pretty much any time. So you can pretty much count on me to be available for a walk.
