Pet care experience
My son Ben and I are big time dog people! We’ve had a Vizsla for 13 years who passed away in 2022. We’re taking a pause from having our own pet again, and instead looking to help out others in our community and keeping dogs in our lives. We do walks in the Riverdale dog park (best in the city!), which is right beside our home. For extended stays we also go to Cherry Beach dog park right on Lake Ontario (its gorgeous!). We’ve dog-sat for many friends.

Graham and his son seemed wonderful and our dog seemed thrilled in all the pictures and videos that were sent. They have a wonderfully large patio with turf and basically live next door to riverdale off leash dog park where a lot of time was likely spent. Looking forward to using them again if the opportunity arises.
Graham and his son Ben were awesome! They took wonderful care of our dog Nakita for 5 days. She loves human company and outdoor adventures and they provided plenty of both, bringing her along on hikes and to baseball and Riverdale park. We appreciated the photo and text updates every day. They’re both super friendly and professional and took the time to meet Niki and introduce her to their home and the other dog they were boarding before the stay to make sure she was comfortable. We would definitely use their services again. Thanks Graham and Ben!

Graham took really good care of Picasso. He sent pictures and videos every day and kept us updated on how Picasso was doing. Graham's place is super dog friendly and really close to a great park where he took Picasso every day. When Picasso was back home we could see how happy and tired he was! Graham is 100% recommended!!!

Our home is on the rooftop of an 11 unit, 2 story loft building in Cabbagetown. We have a 1000sq foot private rooftop deck with turf grass on 1/2 of it. Animals are welcome throughout all rooms of our house. Should anything come up in an emergency we can go to our old vet walking distance nearby - bay cat & dog animal hospital. For first time visits, we like to have a 15-30 minute meet in the park a few days prior to say hi, and make sure your dog is a good match and comfortable with us.

Let us know of any other special needs up front and we'll be sure to try and accommodate. I have a large dog crate if crate sleeping is needed. Let us know on any allergies or other unique traits / behaviours to watch out for. IMPORTANT: We do require a 2-day minimum for first time bookings to ensure time for building our relationship with your pup, and to make sure their first visit is an awesome one. : ) VOCAL DOGS: we live in a small loft building where sound carries easily, so for sake of our community, our place is not a good fit for vocal breeds or dogs easily upset by nearby noises. WHAT TO BRING: so your pet has the best possible stay, in addition to their food we recommend bringing: - bones or favourite chew toys - a blanket or pieces of your clothing to have a familiar scent while here - poo bags
A typical day
I like to tailor each visit to the dog and owner, to stay close to your routine where possible. Higher energy, more social, we'll make sure to do lots of dog park time. Less social, or older dogs we do neighbourhood walks. Ben loves to cuddle / snuggle so if you have that kind of dog I have that kind of kid.

I work remotely most days of the week with a flexible schedule of when I need to be in the office. If we’re taking pets, we like to do morning and evening walks to the dog park when my Son is home, and I do washroom breaks as needed during the day. Ben loves to cuddle for overnights too (as you can see in pics!)
