Pet care experience
I’ve been involved with animals my whole life. I started out in dog 4-H in grade school and learned many valuable skills including care and training. I continued on to showing dogs professionally in my teenage years in AKC conformation. I’ve worked in a doggy daycare and boarding facility and was also a veterinary assistant. I’m now a stay at home mom to both humans and pets and would love to help take care of your pets! I feel comfortable with dogs and cats of any size, breed, and age. I’ve taken care of dogs with various medical conditions and can administer medications as needed. I love high energy and difficult dogs, as I own one myself! I’m also a horse and chicken owner, so I’m up for looking after farm animals both large and small! I strive to be someone you can trust with your pets as I know how important they can be to your family!

For drop in visits I always make sure that pets are kept safe. I make sure to check gates or crates before I leave to insure they are shut and pet is in a safe space before I leave. I always double check doors are locked before I leave as well. In my home, pets are always supervised indoors and outdoors. I always use leashes outdoors except in fenced areas. Dogs are crated if I’m not home for their own safety.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs or needs any medication. Its also nice to know their personality and any behavior issues they might have as well as exercise requirements. For boarding clients, dogs must be kid, dog, and cat friendly! Absolutely no aggressive pets please due to the safety of my kids and pets. I also require dogs be crate trained and fully vaccinated.
A typical day
For drop in visits I'm up for whatever your pet needs. It might be just hanging out for pets and love or playing ball in the backyard. I can do short walks during drop ins as well. Boarding clients, I live in a quiet neighborhood and can do daily walks (multiple per day if needed). I do not have a fenced yard, but dogs are always taken out on leash and I have a large fenced in deck area they can go outside supervised to hang out in the sun or play with my own personal dog. We live close to a nice walking area on the river as well that we visit frequently for walks.

I’m currently a stay at home mom and have lots of time available to watch after your pets! I’m available morning, afternoon, and evenings, 7 days per week. Most holidays as well. Check my calendar for up to date availability.
