Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of various dogs and cats in my neighborhood as I grew up, both for overnight stays and just walks around town! I have personal experience with elderly dogs as well time spent raising my parent’s puppy. As an animal science major attending UVM, my passion for maintaining a strong connection with the community and surrounding myself with animals is super important to me!

While I don’t have a yard of my own, I live just down the road from a beautiful park with lots of running space! I have no pets or my own so your pup will be able to make themselves feel right at home! I also have transportation of my own so if you lack a yard or proximity to a park, I am more than happy to take your pup on a drive (if you and they are comfortable of course) to find a park or walk trail suitable for them!

I love open and honest communication so let me know of anything that your pet may need or anything that I’m likely to encounter. If they are accident prone, no problem! If they have a diabetes, again not a problem! Just let me know about anything ahead of time so we can make sure your pet stays happy, healthy, and safe!
A typical day
I love exploring the Burlington area and accommodating to what your dog needs! If they love to socialize, I know bunch of fun dog friendly parks that we can hang around. If your pup enjoys riding solo, I know some trails and nice walks that we’re less likely to encounter other dogs. I also play frisbee here at UVM, so I always come prepped with a disc to toss around for dogs that are interested!

Availability
I am a full time college student so my classes currently on MWF are from 12-3:30, and TTH they go from 10-1. However, this leaves me with lots of time in the mornings and afternoons to play, walk, and hangout with your pet! My weekends are typically spent doing chores and homework so I have lots of flexible time to dedicate give yourself pup the attention they need!
