Pet care experience
My name is Grace, I am a nurse living in Weymouth. I grew up on a farm with lots of different pets and animals and have always very much been an animal lover from a young age! I have grown up with various dog breeds including Labrador, German shepard, collies, Jack Russells and pug. But I love all dogs! I currently have my own dog who is a rescue and very anxious so sadly I can't have any other dogs at my home but I would love to help others to walk their dogs and provide dog sitting in the free time that I have. I have lots of experience with different dogs and different behaviours and absolutely love going out on long walks in the countryside. I am happy to provide regular or occasional walks and can take dogs to other locations for walks if required as my car is 4x4. I love spending time with dogs as I find them the best type of company and love seeing all their different characters! I will send lots of photos and updates to ensure the owner is at ease during their walk. Also happy to do pet visits to give dogs some attention or Provide pet care where needed. Grace has spent her life around animals growing up on a farm she has always cared and loved animals. She had many pets growing up including dogs which she walked, fed and gave plenty of love and attention to. Grace has a very caring nature now having a career as a nurse helping those sick or injured. Grace also has a dog of her own now who she rescued from a family who struggled to have time to properly care for the dog, grace loves her dog Mav has trained him very well and is a very responsible dog owner. Mav now has a great life with grace going on lots of lovely walks on the farm or down at the beach and receives plenty of time and attention for her to cater to his needs. Going by how grace looks after her own dog, her caring nature and graces love for animals I feel that she would make an excellent carer for others pets. I have two dogs that Grace has looked after for me before whilst I was at an event or away on holiday and I would not hesitate for a second to trust her to look after them again for me.
Grace has always been very caring and compassionate towards my animals which she has looked after. She is patient, kind and clearly has a true interest in dogs and their welfare. When I have gone on holiday, Grace has often looked after my two little pugs. I can go aware reassured they are in safe hands and spolit! They love having Grace as a babysitter and I get regular photos and updates what they have been up to! Overall I could not recommend Grace enough, she is very trusting and you know your pets are in safe hands:)

My current dog is a rescue so I am quite familiar with different behaviours and i am happy to walk dogs that have specific needs. I like to know how they are with other dogs, people and children and if they have any medical conditions. This is to help keep them safe at all times.
A typical day
I love to ensure that the dogs have the best time on their walks! Whether this be going to a local park, beach or just playing with their favourite toys. I will always ask the owner what the dog’s preferences are and then accommodate that.

I’m currently working part time as a nurse so I have Wednesdays and Fridays in the week free and I can also do some weekends and evenings :)
