Pet care experience
I'm currently a CSU graduate student but have lived all over the place! I have one senior cat back home (Angelo) and another 1-year old cat living with me (Void). I also currently live with my roommate's dog (Ziggy) and cat (Esther), who I take care of when they are gone. I have solid experience and am willing to work with pets who are reactive or take a while to warm up.

Grace did an amazing job taking care of our Australian Cattle dog while we were out of town. She was always on time to walk and feed her, made sure to provide us pictures and stories of their adventures, and knew how to handle our dog’s prey drive. I start by getting to know the pet and greeting them, and then make sure they are fed and have a walk if that is part of the service I'm providing. I also always make sure to take some extra time to pet them and play with them.

I would like to know how to best approach them when meeting and walking them. Having a meeting before the client leaves is also important to make sure the pet will not be scared when I arrive to feed and walk them.
A typical day
I like to play with dogs on walks and explore new areas (within safe limits). I like to get to know them! If it is okay to stop at a nearby park as well, this is also an option. I also make sure that when I care for pets that I take time to bond with them by talking to them, petting them, and playing with them.

Availability
My 9-5 job is remote and I make my own schedule, so I can shift my work schedule around your pets needs. I will be in Colorado until October and am looking to take care of and meet new pet friends until then.
