Pet care experience
I come from a home of wonderful dogs, and have pet sat for friends, family, and neighbors since I was in middle school! Lifetime experience of walking, bathing, playing with, caring for, and loving all shapes and sizes of dogs. I have years of experience house sitting and taking care of animals in the home as well as dropping in, and love going on walks to explore with furry friends. Happy to provide references if you need ‘em! There are three of us, and our work schedules are all different, which means that there is always at least two of us home able to care for your pet. Grace #1 works 7am-2pm M-F and is free for afternoon walks/playtime/bathroom breaks, Grace #2 works 2-6pm M-Thurs and is free for morning walks/playtime/bathroom breaks, and Caitlin works from home, so she is always around as well. We do not go out often and are pretty much always home at nights as well cozying up to a movie. We live in a 3b 3br apartment, and our 4- apartment building requires walking up a small flight of stairs to enter. Beauty-wise, we are able to provide baths, teeth brushing services, and other hygienic practices you may need in our bathrooms. There is a front and back yard, which provide enough space to play fetch in and are usable for bathroom breaks. The neighborhood is great for walks, and we live close to the dog beach & multiple dog parks! Upon request, we will ensure your pet is tired and happy by the time they return home!

Grace and her roommates took wonderful care of Oliver! He warmed up to them the minute he met them and I knew he was going to be in great hands! They were also super accommodating and flexible as my plans got changed. I can’t wait to use them to care for Oliver again and I would definitely recommend them to everyone!!

Grace has grown up with dogs - a golden retriever and now, two labrador retrievers. She has handled walking both dogs many times and has walked a great variety of neighbors' dogs and done a lot of pet-sitting, especially during her middle and high school years. The most important thing is that Grace loves dogs and is an extremely responsible, mature woman. She is smart, friendly and very comfortable around all types of dogs. With both patience and energy, Grace would make all types of dogs happy to be with her! As a pet owner, you can feel at ease that Grace will take excellent care of your dog(s) and give them love, attention and exercise.

I would love to know what your dogs normal sleeping accommodations are, if they need any medicine administered to them or any conditions that should be monitored, the type of bathroom attention they require, how they get along with other animals/people, how much activity they like, and anything else that the owner feels is important for us to know.
A typical day
I will take your dog on a morning walk, play fetch/frisbee/tag with them, take them to the dog beach to play and meet other dog friends, take them along for the ride in the car, let their tongue flap in the wind, give them a bath, speak positive affirmations to them, have dance parties with them, go on runs with them, and tell them jokes!

Availability
I’m currently working as a field trip instructor for an environmental non-profit, and work 9am-1pm those days. Sometimes, I work at elementary school fundraising events and can be busy from 7am-2pm. My schedule is really flexible and I will let you know what I can accommodate based on your request!
