Pet care experience
I have had two dogs of my own (one Irish Water Spanial, one Soft Coated Wheaten Terrior) and have fostered roughly five service dogs in training. I have volunteered at a local animal shelter and I am currently interning at Kentucky Humane Society’s Animal Behavior Modification retreat. Through my experience working and caring for dogs, I am able to understand a dogs feeling a based off their body language and I am able to better understand their unique personality as well. I love all types of dogs no matter the breed, size, or personality. I believe every dog deserves to be happy and I won’t stop until this is accomplished!:) hopefully I can meet your sweet pooch very soon! Also, I am currently a Senior in College and go to school out of state, so please take that into consideration before choosing me to watch or walk you dog. I am more than happy to walk or watch your pet during breaks and I have put that schedule on the Rover app. Thank you!:)

Grace was GREAT!!! We went away for the weekend and didn't even have to worry about Logan at all. She came to meet him before we left and it just felt right. She knows what she's doing and her passion for animals shows. I would recommend Grace any time of the day to anyone! Our experience with Grace was fantastic! She looked after my socially awkward Aussie and did so well with him. He’s pretty unsure of strangers so I wanted someone with experience with similar dogs. She made me feel very comfortable about the situation. She texted me each time she went over for a visit and really helped us feel safe leaving our fur baby with a new person! I highly recommend grace!
I worked with Grace for a year to raise, train, and socialize a service dog-in-training named Smiley. They were a great pair because Smiley absolutely loved her and he was always her priority. She was attentive to his behaviors and sought the best for him. She is a very enthusiastic dog lover who genuinely cares about any dog that she takes care of. Dogs love her and seem to quickly trust her!
I could not think of anyone better to watch after your dog than Grace. She is respectful, hard-working, kind, and most of all, she is loved by all dogs. Grace has had years of experience training for 4 Paws for Humanity. She has developed connections with the dogs she has trained and would choose to hang out with dogs over human beings any day. She has gained so much knowledge on how to properly train and care for dogs over the past couple of years. Trust me, your pup will love Grace.
