Pet care experience
I grew up with two boxers and have always loved spending time with dogs. I am a responsible, trust worthy, adult who has experience taking care of both young and elderly/ill dogs. I love to hike and run-- and would be more than happy to take your pup along for these activities or any others that they may like! A little about me: I work in the environmental space, have a graduate degree in environmental management from Yale, and love to get outside in my free time! I'm knowledgeable on various leash types, dog park locations, and have dog sat numerous times for friends and family. I'd love to spend time with your pet. You can rest assured I'd take excellent care of them and love them like my own.

Having Grace take our pups for their needed walk went great. She spent a lot of time beforehand with us educating herself about the special needs of our dogs (one is partially paralyzed and uses a cart and special harness, so his care is not exactly a cake-walk). She was very conscientious and sent a bunch of pictures and updates about how everything went, since we were so nervous. We will definitely be booking her again! Thank you!

I have a large fenced in backyard, which provides ample space for your pup to play. I always have fresh water available and inside there are multiple dog beds and space to safely play inside as well.

I would like to know if your dog plays nice with other dogs, has any quarks I should know about (doesn't like being pet in a certain way or some other concern), and if they have any dietary restrictions
A typical day
I would take your dog on an appropriate walk in your neighborhood. I'm well versed on the locations and rules of dog parks across D.C. and would happily take your pup for some play time. I'd also love to take your dog on longer runs and/or walks around Rock Creek Park, which I know well from my running and bicycling adventures. I'd be happy to play catch, give belly rubs, and take care of all of their business responsibly.

I work from home and am happy to host your pet to play with my friendly 1.5 year old boxer named Moose or to step out on my lunch break to take your pet for a walk.
