Crazy Lab turned Diabetic Alert Dog
Pet care experience
During my senior year of college I took on the responsibility of raising and training a 4 month old chocolate lab puppy, Mylie, to be a service dog (what was I thinking??). It took lots of blood, sweat and tears but Mylie is now with her forever family doing incredible things for them as a diabetic alert dog. As most dogs are, Mylie was my best companion and since we've parted ways a few years ago I've been filing the void in my heart by caring for dogs in my neighborhood. With experience taking care of dogs of all ages and breeds (from 3 month old Irish Springer Spaniels to 16 year old Golden Doodles), I have the experience to provide your animals with the very best care.

Grace was wonderful for our sweet, special-needs dog. Hershey is 14 years old and is blind, deaf and arthritic, so he needs someone special who will care for him with extra TLC. Grace was very patient and loving towards him, and kept us apprised of how he was doing all throughout our trip. When we returned, our home was in perfect order and Hershey was happy, peaceful and well-cared for. We are so grateful for Grace's help! Thank you.

Grace took great care of our dog! Our dog is very energetic and excitable. Grace handled him with a calm, confident style, and he responded very well. In all of our interactions with Grace, she was responsive, thoughtful and attuned to our concerns.
When Grace was a senior in college, she took on the responsibility of raising a service dog from a puppy. While other kids her age were out partying, she was training and raising a dog that required constant attention. This proved to me how much she loves dog and showed what an incredible caregiver she is. Grace has a loving, gentle nature that dogs can sense. They're immediately comfortable around her. And you can feel comfortable trusting your pet with her. In fact, I can't imagine anyone providing more loving care and attention than Grace.
