Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Grace M. I have lived in the KC area for three years now! I have always thought about getting a pet of my own but then I found this simple solution! Through Rover, you and I get the best of both worlds! I get to love your fur-baby like my own for a short time and you get to travel stress-free knowing your pet is in good hands! But don't let my lack of owning pets scare you! I grew up on a farm with at least three dogs, one cat, 10 chickens, and 6 horses constantly present throughout my childhood!! I will risk sounding over-confident through my bio to say that if I haven't seen it all, I am just about close to it. On top of that, I grew up babysitting and dogsitting so if you need me in your home, I got you taken care of. I currently work full time as a Research Assistant at KU Medical Center, but I’ve really missed getting to meet new pets and getting to know their unique personalities! It’s really fun for me, and I get to add to my mental collection of all the amazing dogs and cats I’ve gotten to know. So do me a favor and let me collect some happy memories with your pet! P.S. I grew up with Australian Shepherds in my parent's home. Send all the Aussies my way!!! Sorry for the bias!

This was our third timing using Grace for house sitting. She leaves the house in great shape and is very easy to communicate with. We highly recommend!
Grace was amazing with our three dogs! She kept me posted on how things were going and sent photos of our pups while we were away. We did in-house dog sitting for the first time and I'm so glad we had Grace for that experience. She is trustworthy in our home and with our babies! We will definitely use her again. Highly recommend.
Grace did a great job taking care of our two dogs. She made our shy female comfortable very quickly. Our house was spotless and well kept. We would gladly use Grace again.
Grace was very easy to work with. Flexible to help out last minute and very thoughtful and intentional with her care of our dog and overnight stay!

While I’ll have thoughts/opinions on how to best care for your pet, I will ALWAYS follow your instruction first. Because in the end, I’m just there to make sure your pet is taken care of and experiences as little anxiety as a possible while you’re away. I’ve cared for a wide range pets with different levels of care needed. From the pet that just needs to be fed and checked on once a day, to the pet that has dietary restrictions and several medications. Regardless of how much care your pet needs, I will do my best to make sure they are happy and healthy during your absence.:)

Please let me know of any known triggers for certain behaviors! The good and the bad! When they know they’re going to get a treat, and any thing that will put them in a defensive state, etc., etc.
A typical day
I love to go on walks, and I love it even more if I can get a furry buddy to tag along with me! If walks are not what your pet needs, that’s ok because I love to play with pets and get them excited for treats!! Whatever we do, I try my best to tire them out while you’re away (less energy for separation anxiety!!).

As a full time worker, pet care fits in during the morning hour, my lunch hour, and the afternoons! On the weekends, I would love it if pet care took up the majority of my time!!
