Pet care experience
I live on 2nd St, a block away from the bluff & ocean, and directly beside Bixby Dog Parks! My husband Brantley & I would love to be apart of your little ones daily routine — walking, feeding, playing everything from A to Z! We’ve extensive experience with numerous situations regarding owning, taking care of, & sustaining pups for a long while now. From dealing with allergy rashes, to on/off leash training. In fact, my husband, himself, (alone, with no help or guidance) potty-trained - crate-trained - & behaviorally trained both our little pitbull babies. We go the extra mile, maybe because of OCD, but also, just because we know that’s what it takes — and we know that’s what they deserve; from 7 mile walks to dog park socialization. we’re good on it all. When you’re gone, we know that neither you nor us want that little one to feel any lapse in love - or care - or attention - or affection, and that’s where we come in — to make sure they know even though you might not can be there, that you’ve left someone who is going to love them to pieces in the meantime! I enjoy going above & beyond to make sure that not only what is required is offered, but what they need & what will make those little tails wag, is given. And we can ensure that your babies will be taken care of, like we do ours — intently, lovingly, and carefully.

Not only are Grace & Brantley really cool people, but they are also responsible dog parents who know what they are doing. I've had the chance to take care of their 2 lovely pitbulls whom they've trained really well. Rest assured that your dog(s) will be in good hands with the 2 of them. I highly recommend them!
Met Brantley, Grace’s husband, when he came over to have a first little meeting with our little doodie Whistler. He’s a rescue, & has had a complicated past, to say the least. Therefore, requiring someone with quite a bit of experience. I found Brantley through the nextdoor app, which included the rover profile he & his wife Grace share. We decided to hire him outside of the app, just because it was easier / more convenient / less hassle for us. But he had our emails so that we could still send in a review. Needless to say, it was kismet. I couldn’t imagine it having been anyone other than him watching for the job. He’s a certified former trainer. He rescued & trained his own pit bulls. He doesn’t just come-walk-leave. He stayed and spent time with him, when he didn’t even have to do that. It’s like, we could tell that he just really loved being there for him / with him. Whistler acclimated so quickly to him, and I even noticed improvements in his behavior and walking habits once we had returned. He really did go ABOVE & BEYOND for our lil whistle. I also LOVED that he would send numerous pictures, updates, or just little texts to let us know how things were going, when he also, did NOT have to do that. He was in constant communication, because he wanted us to feel at ease, & stress free about not being able to be there with him ourselves. He was definitely the right choice. I wanted to take the time to write the review for that very fact. Very satisfied client. Will be regularly hiring him from now on.
If you booked Grace expecting a female, make sure you express that upfront because her husband Brandtly shares the account with Grace. Brandtly took great care of our pets while we were away. He was absolutely wonderful with our senior pitbull and shy cat. He definitely went above and beyond! He was very easy to get a hold of and fast to respond. But if you're not one for lots of text messages, you will need to communicate that to him and set communication preferences up front.
Tons of great updates - texts, photos, and videos. My girls really had a good time! Will book again.

A typical day
Your little - big little - babe will be COMPLETELY occupied in our time together! I have multiple toys - multiple different size harnesses, collars, and leashes. I love to incorporate long (mile +) walks into their daily routine. I’d love to take them to the dog park, if that’s something you’d allow for them - I take my two all the time, and they LOVE doing laps with all the other pups there until they eventually just lay in the mulch and it’s time to leave. My walking routes usually range from 2-4 miles (with my own) we go downtown - by the beach - Broadway, 4th St, etc. I also love to spend one on one time with them - it could be anywhere from praising them to just sitting on the floor playing around. If it’s a day with me, it’ll be a good day. And they’ll love every minute.
