Pet care experience
STYLE: I treat every animal like a unique individual -- they're a lot like us! I work to establish a meaningful relationship with your pet by getting on their level and paying close attention to their cues. If you hear me talking/singing to them on your pet cam -- don't judge! BACKGROUND: Growing up, I was always surrounded by animals. I've always lived with dogs and cats. Now that I’m taking a year off of school, I get to spend my days caring for dogs, cats, and even chickens! SPECIAL CARE: I have lots of experience with leash reactivity, seniors, anxiety, and puppies. I don’t train dogs, but I am great with puppies who are new to walking on a leash. BREEDS: I have the most experience with German Shepherds, Labs, Pitbulls, Aussies, Goldendoodles, Chihuahas, and Shih Tzus. I have some experience with Great Danes, Shiba Inus, other herding breeds, and smaller fox hunting breeds.
Reviews
Grace is my absolute favorite sitter. My shepherd has a fragile toenail that sometimes tends to bleed randomly. This happened late at night during a walk and she was VERY prompt in reaching out to myself and my emergency contact to work on a solution/what was going on. Thankfully, she was able to wrap his foot herself and it ended up just being his nail!! However, the fact that she was able to wrap my sensitive dogs foot shows me how much he trusts and loves her. He HATES his feet being touched. Grace is AMAZING!
Had every sense of confidence that Grace did her job. Will use her again for any house sitting needs
Grace did such a wonderful job walking our 75lbs dog, Mr. Potato. Very communicative, attentive and transparent!
Grace did great with my dog who can be nervous! She loved her!

SAFETY: I always maintain a strong grip on the leash and never wear earbuds during walks. I do lift weights frequently — I’m stronger than I look! TRUST: I take lots of care to build trust during the first few interactions I have with your pet. I also maintain transparency with pet owners at every turn. I understand that I am a stranger to you at first! I will always get permission before doing anything out of the ordinary, such as driving your pet around town.
Information Grace L. would like to know about your pet
• personality • basic training cues used (sit, stay, heal, come, etc.) • whether your dog pulls on walks (They should have a harness if they don’t walk with slack in the leash.)
A typical day
WALKS: Many of my clients just need a brisk midday walk to get some energy out. I never wear earbuds during walks in order to take extra good care of your furry friends! DROP-INS: These are highly personalized! A good fit for pets who need something other than a long walk. I’ll work with you to define what each visit should consist of, including potty breaks, playtime, feeding, and brushing. HOUSESITTING: Much like an extended drop-in visit, I’ll be there to let your pet out every 4-8 hours. Meet n greets are especially important here! Playtime, walks, and snuggles are a guarantee, but generally in the evenings and mornings.
