Pet care experience
I grew up with pets of all kinds from dogs, cats, cockatiels and chickens to aquatic frogs, fish, chinchillas and hedgehogs. Growing up I’d always participate in their daily care from dog walking and playing with the cats to cleaning bird cages and feeding/watering the chickens. Since then I’ve developed such a passion for caring for animals that I’ve been going to school for my bachelors in zoology in hopes of one day becoming a veterinarian! I’m very knowledgeable about all kinds of pets and really enjoy learning about all their different personalities!
Reviews
Grace is honestly the best pet sitter I’ve had. I have a bunny who’s about to be 1 year old in February and she takes great care of him! In September I moved into an apartment that wouldn’t allow me to keep him. It was a tough decision, but it was the only thing I could really afford. Since then, grace has been fostering him and taking care of my baby until I can move somewhere that allows pets. I was sad to not have him around as much, but she’s been taking great care of him ever since! He’s so so happy and healthy, she gives him fresh veggies every day and is sure to make sure all his needs are met. Not only is she a great foster mom to my bunny, but she’s currently attending college for zoology. She’s very knowledgeable about animals, how to take care of them, what they can and can’t eat, and above all else, she’s a true animal lover! I can say with 100% certainty that she’ll provide your pet with the best care out there. She’s attentive, smart, fun, and will be sure to go above and beyond for your pet!

At home I have two older smaller dogs who really enjoy playing with other dogs and going on walks together. I also have a rabbit and chinchilla that I keep in their cages in the common area that are always curious of new visitors. I have a medium sized fenced in yard for pups to play and run around in as well as a pretty large downstairs area that the dogs can explore and play with toys in. I also live close to a beautiful park with a nice long pathway that I often walk my dogs around, they really enjoy it especially as it’s close to a little goat and sheep farm that the dogs enjoy sniffing and saying hi to, a great, different form of enrichment for them.
Information Grace L. would like to know about your pet
I’d love to know about any different behaviors they have and any special instructions they need in order to stay happy and comfortable from basic behavior examples to physical health aspects!
A typical day
I believe that both mental and physical enrichment is very important for all animals in human care, not just our loveable pets. I love playing fetch at the park or in the yard with the dogs, going on long walks in areas that have a variety of environments and inhabitants like anything from gravel trails near ponds with ducks and turtles to concrete paths around a local park and walks near a local farm that allow the dogs to possibly interact with the resident goats and sheep. Playing with squeaky toys and offering bones (without rawhide) to chew on often keep my dogs busy as well. Cuddles on the couch, tummy rubs, and butt scratched are always great simple ways I like to keep them happy too! All these actions help to strengthen our bonds with them too and I just can’t wait to meet your furry companions!
