I am a dog-lover who, unfortunately, cannot have a dog of my own due to work-travel. I live in a spacious, dog-friendly apartment in the Courthouse neighborhood. I currently work about 10 minutes away from my home, which would make for an easy mid-day walk, if necessary -- I also work remotely from my home frequently so can arrange to work from home if your dog feels more comfortable. I have an extra large-size dog crate and bed in case you are unable to transport your own. I am an avid outdoor exerciser, and plan to be taking your dog on long walks (hikes sometimes) in the many neighborhood parks, or dog parks. My apartment building has a small, fenced dog-friendly area, and I live on the ground floor for easy outdoor access. I have only owned small to mid-sized dogs (Beagle, Spaniel mix, Chihuahua mix) but am comfortable with larger dogs as well. I have experience with senior dogs and feel comfortable administering oral medication if necessary.
