Dedicated care, unique to your pet!

Pet care experience

My ethos regarding pet care is simple – I approach my time with animals with a whole lot of passion, years of experience, and the understanding and patience any pet might need in a confusing and possibly stressful time. Change, even temporary, can trigger anxiety - feel at ease knowing that your pets are in the care of someone comfortable meeting them where they are, at any stage of life! Why Choose Me: Tailored TLC: Your pet is one of a kind, and so is my approach. Does your pet have special dietary or medical needs? I provide customized care, ensuring each furry companion is comfortable and as fulfilled as they can be until you're reunited! Playful Interaction: Whether it's playtime or a stroll through the neighborhood, I want to keep your pets engaged and enriched. A happy pet is a healthy pet, and I'm all about creating joy-filled moments. Open Lines of Communication: Expect adorable pictures! Keep me updated on your pets' needs as they evolve, so we can ensure the best possible experience for them while you're away or indisposed. Flexibility and Experience: Special needs? Unique preferences? No problem. I'm adaptable to ensure your pets get the care they require and the affection they deserve. As a former shelter volunteer, I have met and enjoyed the company of cats and dogs from all walks of life. I have years of experience with daily care for seniors (and they have a special place in my heart)! Ready for a stress-free pet care experience? Let's meet and greet, and set the stage for a fantastic time for your beloved pets!

Gracie is a stellar sitter and an animal person all-around. She actively works to better the situation for stray, feral, and wild animals in her community and is exceptionally experienced with cats. Buddy, our resident kidney cat and senior, is overjoyed when Gracie is here to watch him - she is great at keeping him feeling loved and getting some variety and excitement into his life. She gave us some tips on administering his fluids to make him more comfortable, and they have been a big help. Our younger kitty, Penny (a persian), is always brushed and well fed when we see her again, no small feat considering she's a squirmy, picky one with a teensy little mouth. We've seen her work with dogs, as well, but she's a master with cats (and a pleasure to talk to/work with). She's the only person I trust with our senior cat and his more involved care, so we will be using her services again!

I've known Gracie for years, she's very passionate about animals. Her knowledge on cat care is amazing, and she also has experience with senior cats and dogs. she's my go to person whenever I have concerns or needs for my own cats.

Cute pet photos are a must, but I will happily tailor my level of communication to your preference. I conduct myself with integrity and care in and around my clients' homes, and encourage pet parents to use cameras to monitor their pets and home to whatever extent they desire.

Information Grace K. would like to know about your pet

I'll need to know detailed feeding instructions including amounts, as well as the location of any items your pet might need or want while you're gone. If your pet has coat maintenance needs, give me a heads-up. Let me know of any rooms or spaces that are off-limits for me or for your pets (if you could add a note on the door to that area, that would be beneficial as well!) Be sure to give me instructions on any medications, and let me know if there's anything else about your companion I ought to keep in mind (temperament, preferences, etc). I encourage pet parents to use cameras to monitor their pets and home to whatever extent they desire. I also ask that cameras be disclosed to me in order to preserve my privacy in the event I need to take a medical phone call, or to make sure I don't inadvertently sit or crouch in an unflattering or indecent way while, say, trying to medicate your pet - rowdy hyperthyroid cat owners know what I'm talking about. All dignity goes out the window when it comes down to a pet's health! Let me know if you have any questions or requirements and I'll always do my utmost to meet your needs.

A typical day

A typical day is a rundown of all your pet's needs: we start with the basics, like making sure eating, hydration, and medications are taken care of. Then we can focus our remaining time together on what's most fulfilling. Does your little old man just need some love and company? I'll be sure he's showered in affection and has a comfy, warm spot to settle in for a nap before I go. Does your young cat or dog need to expend some energy? Walks, playtime, and mental stimulation are integral to an animal's well-being, and therefore are staples in my services. When it's time for me to say goodbye, last order of business is another rundown of the list to ensure your pet has everything they need and will be in good shape while they await your return: a quick safety check to ensure your pet can't escape or get into anything that could be harmful, double checking food and water levels/cleanliness as appropriate, and a treat or a fun toy before I bid my adieus.
