Pet care experience
I tend to have a natural connection with dogs. I surprise most dog owners with how well their dogs get along with me during our first meeting. Though, there was one time I had a dog who went from actually hating my guts, to not wanting me to leave. She loves me just as much as her owners! I spent the entire night laying on the floor with her, and she wouldn’t go anywhere near me, but after weekly visits once her owners got home, she slowly started getting used to me. Now she loves me!

Without a lot of prior notice, Grace was able pick up and day care my pooches for about 3 hours. She took them to a cool place to walk, she sent pictures, and communicated on their adventure. Grateful and would recommend her as a fantastic, ethical and flexible sitter. Thank you Grace!!
Grace LOVES animals! She is very considerate, responsible, and loves my dog like she was her own. Grace will send photo and text updates to make me feel better about being away. I feel very comfortable having Grace in my home and caring for my dog.

I am not able to have dogs over at my house for a long period of time, but if I do bring them over for a play date, I do have a fenced in backyard, plus I live just down the road from an elementary school with a large field. As for the client’s home, I try to stick to their regular routine as much as I can so that the animals don’t get stressed out by their day changing so much

I like to know things that dogs really love to do, and then I also like to know if there’s anything that may scare/upset your dog just so I know to be extra careful
A typical day
I like to take some time during the day to bring them outside to play, and will of course take them on at least one walk a day for usually around 30-45 minutes. I do have an elementary school near my house that is perfect for entertaining play time with dogs, so that’s definitely another thing we could do

Availability
My schedule right now is I’m working full time. I work 5 days a week (7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday), but I have all of Saturday and Sunday to spend with the animals. I have enough time in the morning to feed animals, and take any dogs I’m watching for a little walk to go potty before I leave, and then have the rest of the day after work to spend time with them!
