Pet care experience
I have experience taking care of puppies and senior dogs and everything in between, having owned a family dog from puppyhood who passed away a few years ago. I am experienced in potty training and crate training dogs. I have dog sat dogs in my home before so I am accustomed to dogs in my home. I live near many beautiful trails so I am able to take dogs on walks, short and long. I am a stay at home mom so I am readily available to dog sit. I also have 2 kids who are eager to help and want a dog of their own but I want them to experience a briefer time with a dog to realize responsibilities before jumping ahead and adopting a dog to their forever home, hence the dog sitting.
Reviews
Having Grace watch Izzy turned out to be a prefect fit. She responded soo quickly and did took great care of her. She communicated really well with me throughout the day and the day prior to ensure we were on the same page and Izzy’s needs were met. Garve watching 2 other dogs that day as well and let me know as soon as I requested the booking. She was able to mange them all really well and Izzy had a great day! I will definitely be booking with Grace again.
Grace did a wonderful job with Alfie. It was our first time leaving him with someone else, so we were a little hesitant, but Grace quickly put our minds at ease. She was super responsive and very attentive to all the details of watching a high energy puppy. Would definitely recommend Grace to anyone.
Grace was wonderful with my little guy. She was friendly, punctual, and went the extra mile. Thx for all your help Grace. : )
She was a great dog sitter and took great care of our elderly chihuahua! Our dog is very picky about other people but she seemed to have a wonderful time and was at ease. We will definitely be seeing Grace in the future!

I make sure the the dog’s needs are always met: food, drink, exercise, grooming. I live in a 1800 sq foot townhome but can take the dog out to all the nature trials and fields around my neighborhood. I enjoy cuddling with dogs in my sunroom and letting them relax around the house. I make sure that the dog is comfortable and that my kids know to treat dogs gently, as we have a friend with a skittish adopted dog who is anxious oftentimes, and when that happens I have made sure that the kids know to give the dog space.

I live in a townhome so it’s important to keep that in mind regarding dog size. I am ok with large breeds as long as the large breeds are ok with a townhome. I am ok with all breeds and ages of dogs, just as long as the dog is good with children. I will of course keep a close eye on the dog when around children all the time, but I want to make sure that the dog does not have previous incidents with kids. I would like know the dog’s history to make sure that I am not triggering any past trauma.
A typical day
A typical day would be a morning walk if needed, breakfast if needed, and plenty of water offered. Dog would just chill with me throughout the day since I stay mostly at home. I will take the dog out and play with the dog if it needs extra stimulation. If the owner requests, I can take the dog out to the dog park or have it interact with other dogs.

Availability
I have a pretty organized routine in that I am a stay at home mom. I briefly leave the home to pick up and drop off kids at school. I am mostly home except when I go to the gym for an hour Wednesdays through Fridays. I am home every night and I enjoy being in my own space. I rarely go out at evenings except for dinners with friends occasionally.
