Hello! My name is Grace, and I'm currently in medical school! I've had dogs my entire life, and grew up with multiple dogs in the house, from mini Pomeranians to German Shepards. In the spring of 2017 I adopted a puppy with my fiancé. Darwin is a Lab mix, 3 years old and FULL of energy! He's very friendly with all dogs and people. Darwin is quite a handful, so we know how to handle high energy dogs. Our house is also "Darwin-proofed" as I like to call it, because he was (and still is, at times) a mischievous pup. So anything that could be stolen for keep-away or chewed is in a safe place (so no need to worry if you also have a mischievous one)! I have experience with young puppies and senior dogs, too. And I can guarantee Darwin will wear your pup out if they come to play! I can take the pups to the dog park or for walks, whatever your dog needs! We’re excited to have you come over and play! No breed preferences. Dogs must be friendly with other dogs! I'd love to set up a time for Darwin to meet your pup before they come over for daycare, to make sure both you and your pup are comfortable!
A typical day
Normally, I take Darwin to Shawnee Mission Dog Park or to Bar K. We take lots of walks throughout the Westwood area. Darwin is a big fan of swimming, so whenever we can get to Shawnee Mission Park for the lake in the warm weather, we do! Let me know if you're dog loves the water too! We also have a fenced yard for them to play in, when we don't get a chance to go to the dog park. When the weather isn't so great, Darwin loves to play tug-of-war, chew his bones, do his puzzle toys and especially play hide-and-seek! We've got lots of toys to keep the pups entertained inside.
