Pet care experience
My family got our childhood dog when I was 6 years old. I have loved dogs more than anything since I was born! I have been petsitting since middle school. I am the go-to petsitter for all of my friends and family. They rely on me and trust that their pets will be well taken care of, loved, and photographed in their absence!

We have known Grace Hourigan since she was a child and have watched her grow up. Her parents have raised an outstanding young woman. Grace took great care of our 2 dogs when we were away…..even hosted them on Christmas Day! She is very responsible and genuinely loves dogs. I felt totally comfortable with her in charge. Grace was amazing with my dog, she walked her everyday and gave her meds in a way she actually ate them. Will definitely be using Grace again.
Grace is so sweet and is such an animal lover. Our dog spent over a week with her while we were overseas and Grace was so attentive, providing photos and updates despite the time difference.
Grace is the most caring dog sitter out there!! She takes photos with my dog Pablo and sends them to me periodically. Pablo loved her so much! They cuddled all night and played! It’s so great how she can board him or come over. She left my house in better condition than I left it! My favorite dog sitter ever!

When watching pets in my own home, I always make sure there’s nothing dangerous or hazardous within reach whenever leaving the dogs alone. I have plenty of space if a dog needs to be crated. I live in a corner apartment unit that faces a quiet street, so it is quite calm/quiet which helps with dogs that lean more reactive. I live on the first floor so I have close access to let the dogs outside when needed. I always make sure to not leave pets alone for extended periods of time beyond their comfort and prioritize being with them as much as I can when I am pet sitting. I make sure they stick to their routines, give them plenty of exercise, and send TONS of pictures and updates to the owners :). When watching pets in someone else’s home, I treat is as I would my own home or how I would want others to treat my space, with respect and care. I make sure to always tidy up after myself and the pet(s) and make sure everything is left as I found it, if not better.

Let me know if there’s anything I should know before leaving your pets alone for longer periods of time (i.e. 1+ hours). For example, if they tend to get into the trash, or chew on clothes/shoes, need to be crated, can’t go more than a certain amount of time between potty breaks, anxieties, etc.
A typical day
I love to take the dogs I watch on walks, let them play with my friends dogs (as long as they do well with other dogs), take them to outdoor patios, and hang out and give them lots of snuggles!! :)

Availability
I am currently working part-time, so my schedule is quite flexible for pet-sitting! I am available essentially all day on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and the weekends. On Wednesdays and Thursdays I am available before 8 AM or after 4:30 PM. I am available for boarding all nights of the week and weekend.
