Pet care experience
Hello animal parents! My name is Grace and I am a veterinary student at Cornell. Throughout my life, animal care has consistently been a huge source of happiness and exploration. I began my animal care journey at 10 years old when I started helping my neighbor with her fostered dogs. Eventually I got my own dogs, and it spiraled into me getting various other pets - mouse, rabbits, fish, newt, and a few more! A few of my other experiences include wildlife rehabilitation of squirrels, aquatic animal care, and small rodent care. I have spent many hundreds of hours working at vet clinics and have a wide range of experience with everything from pets with anxiety to those with severe health conditions. Feel free to ask about any other specific needs!
Reviews
Grace has been a FANTASTIC caregiver for my dog. She has shown herself to be an exceptionally responsible and diligent person to rely on when I need her. I am so thankful to have someone I can trust, and feel safe with when putting my dog's care in someone else's hands!

Depending on what you and your pet's needs are, I am happy to do everything from walks, house sitting, feeding, etc. I am open to longer periods of care as well.
Information Grace G. would like to know about your pet
Before sitting an animal I believe it is very important to know about their personality. Each animal is different and their potential reactions, medication needs, and behavior is of the utmost importance to making sure they are safe and healthy. I can accommodate almost any type of personality, size, or breed as long as I get the necessary information beforehand.
A typical day
For all of my pets, I try to make them have a great day every day. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing with their toys, working on tricks and commands, and relaxing together. If there is the opportunity, I would love to take them on other adventures like a hike or going to the beach. In terms of cats, I always try to put myself in their shoes. If they look like they're in the mood to play, we can enjoy some toys. Otherwise, I like to groom them or just relax in their presence.

For the summer of 23' I will be working on veterinary research. I generally do a mix of remote and in person work so my schedule is pretty flexible.
