Pet care experience
Let me start off by saying - I LOVE all animals - dogs, cats, horses, you name it! I currently have one Bernese Mountain Dog named Bernard (affectionately known as Baby B, Bernardino, and Silly Bean) I grew up with cats and dogs of all sizes/breeds/needs - a rat terrier, pomeranian, husky mix, pit bull etc. One of my dogs did have a degenerative disease that caused him to be deaf, blind, and experience seizures so I am well versed in that care, if needed. I also enjoy doing short term foster placements for animal rescue organizations throughout Houston. I’ll watch the animals for a few days to open up space in the shelters and help them decompress before being transported up north to find their furever family! I donate a portion of what I earn through dog sitting to these animal rescue orgs (BARC, RPM, ESMA) 🐾🤍

A typical day
Going on walks, playing with my dog Bernard, running around the yard, sunbathing, or simply laying all day on the couch - whatever your pet wants, your pet will get! Also enjoy taking your animal to a pet friendly patio or the horse stables (with your permission, of course!)

Availability
I have a very flexible job and work from home. You’ll often find me sitting on the floor, typing with one hand and petting my dog with the other :) I’m always done working by 3pm or so and then have the entire evening to fully devote to your pet. Belly rubs, walks, play time, naps - the whole nine yards 🐾
