Hiii! My name is Grace and I am the ultimate dog lover/caretaker you have been searching for! I came home from the hospital to an 8, big dog household; dogs have been in my life from the beginning! I grew up under the biggest dog lover I have ever known, my mother. We volunteered for many dog rescue groups and fostered many dogs throughout my entire childhood. My experiences with dogs as a child until now have made me the person I am today, a Crazy “Gracie” Dog Mom! Today, I’m all grown up and have 3 of my own (2 small and 1 medium/big). I am married with no children of my own. Im a registered dietitian and work 4, 10 hour days Monday-Thursday. Im looking to fill my spare time doing what I love, giving all dogs their best life🤍. I live in a beautifully restored craftsman home in the historic district and look forward to any opportunities to serve the dog lovers of our community!

I have a fully fenced back yard with a great deck for pup sun bathing (my own dogs LOVE it!) and lots of room to run around! Im quite the home body myself so my pups are very familiar with laying around the house on all pieces of furniture I own. Spoiled is an understatement! For drop in visits, I’m a very clean and organized person, (you have to be with 3 dogs of your own… and a husband haha!) I pride myself on a tidy space that encourages fun by ensuring your pup has access to a plethora of toys, overflowing water bowl and whatever they need to feel like true royalty! Im very trust worthy and would/will take your pup’s safety as my top priority.

Let me know if your pup has any special or attention-requiring care needs! Also, how they interact with other dogs and if they do any strange behaviors that can be mistaken for anything concerning that I should be aware of! Information regarding their eating schedule and drinking habits or if they have any allergies, etc. is also very useful information!
A typical day
I love to take my own dogs on walks around the neighborhood! I live in the Winnetka Heights Historic District where there are sidewalks and plenty of trees for shade. We also do Brain Games quite often (especially when it’s too hot to be outside).

Availability
Im available for opportunities in my 3 days off on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Monday - Thursday I work my full time job, my specialty is kidney failure patients on dialysis. When I’m not working my day job, I’m majorly taking care of my dogs, spending time with my husband, our friends and housekeeping. Even though I do work during the work week, you can still shoot me a message to see if I might be available for certain services! Thankfully, my job can be very flexible.
