When pets are here, they're family!
Pet care experience
I have no pets of my own but have lived with and cared for roommates pets over the years. At one point, I helped care for three cats and one dog simultaneously! My current roommates (who also have no pets) love dogs and cats and we are all enthusiastic about caring for your furry friends when they stay with us.

My apartment is a clean, clutter-free environment located in a family-friendly and pet-friendly neighborhood. My roommates and I regularly keep the floors clean (especially when pets are around) and welcome them to join us in the common areas (living room / dining room) where there is quite a bit of space for everyone to stretch out and relax (especially pets). When pets stay over at our place, we have a clean space set aside for their food and water +/- bed, toys, leashes, bowls, etc. This area has enough space to hold a kitty litter box and a very large dog cage (so basically, we have lots of space!). We also set reminders to take dogs outside. We generally close the doors to the bathrooms to prevent pets from getting into the trash and most of the bedroom doors remain closed (based on individual roommate preferences). However, if pets wish to spend the night with one of the roommates, there will always be at least 1-2 people who will be open to having them sleep in their room. We also live in a very safe neighborhood and there are plenty of sidewalks and a large park within walking distance. Finally, none of us are smokers and we keep noise levels under control when pets are around (though in general, we are a calm, relaxed group of people.)

Availability
I am a student so my schedule is not the usual 5-day work week, but that also means my days are generally pretty flexible. Ideally, the best days I am able to pet-sit are those closer to the weekends and the weekends themselves (so, Thursday/Friday – Sunday / Monday morning). Depending on my course schedule for each month, I am usually home on Thursdays or Fridays.
