Pet care experience
Hi I’m Grace. I have been doing dog walking and pet sitting my whole life. I’ve been around animals since I was born, and I’ve loved them just as long. When I was 10 years old I started helping my mom dog/cat sit for family friends. Before I started helping I would just go along with her while she did all the work and I observed carefully (and pet every animal). I started doing my own walks/pet care at 14 where I would feed, walk, and sometimes bathe pets for my clients. I started doing overnight house sitting at 17 for people I knew and pets I cared for previously. I did a few summers of vet camp where I learned to administer medication for pets and treat wounds. I also learned dog grooming skills from my many years working in many different pet industry companies. My mom and I now have 3 dogs (2 chows and 1 poodle) and 11 year old yellow footed tortoise named Blush 🐢. All my animals get along well with others animals and people (and cats!). Our 97 pound Rottweiler mix loves Grace! Grace is very knowledgeable about big, little or medium sized dogs - Grace understands and uses commands that we suggest offering consistency for our pet, who is a working dog and often needs to be redirected. Grace is kind but firm, and is attentive to the surroundings to prevent any negative encounters with other humans or pets! Please consider Grace for your next caregiver. Michelle A.

When I pet sit overnight I will be at the house full time taking care of your pets individual needs. I have my own car and will need a place to park. I will follow the feeding and walking schedule you set out for me, and send many updates with pictures throughout the stay. I will give your pet the most love and affection they will ever experience (besides yours of course!). They will be well taken care of and feel very loved.

I would like to know your dogs usual schedule as well as how much s/he's fed, any allergies, special needs, or medications. As well as if there are any other pets in the house.
A typical day
The day we make will be your choice! We can stay at home and watch movies or we can go out on an adventure, whatever you’re comfortable with! On eventful days we will have morning walks, afternoon forest trails, possibly dog park visits as well. I can fit up to 4 dogs in my car (with seatbelts) and take them for a drive to nature preserves or the dog beach! They can come meet my dogs as well if you’re comfortable with that! I have 3 neutered males who love making new friends! ????
