I volunteered and worked at a rescue for over 3 years. My job included feeding, walking and playing with the puppies and dogs. Also giving medicine, working on training and caring for relatively sick dogs with the assistance of vets and vet technicians. Cleaning kennels and helping with adoptions. I currently work at a pet store which includes more than just checking out customers at my register. I help them find food, toys and more that are the right fit for their fur babies whether they are dogs, cats, reptiles and more. While working at the rescue, many of my coworkers had me pet sit for their dogs and other animals. Some had as many as 3 cats and three dogs. Sometimes they would have fosters as well. Some of those fosters would be recovering from things like Illness and surgery.
