Reviews
Gordon is an exceptional rover sitter! Professional, caring, and great with pets. Left my dog feeling happy and secure. Highly recommend!
Gordon took wonderful care of Lupin! He gave him lots of attention, long walks, dog park visits, and comfy time at home. Gordon is friendly with humans, too! Highly recommend him.
Would 100% recommend Gordon for pupsitting! He really cares about my dog, and was flexible and understanding when my flight (and pickup) was delayed.
Phil loves Gordon!!

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a one-bedroom apartment on the second floor of a new building, with large windows overlooking the Metropolitan Branch Trail. I have my living room set up with a futon and comfy chair so that dogs can look out onto the trail. I let dogs on all the furniture and I keep comfy fleece blankets stocked.
Information Gordon C. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if your dog has specific triggers or behavior quirks that I should adapt to when I'm outside with them for pee breaks or walks. Please also bring daily play and care items — a toy or bone they really like and a brush if they shed a lot, for example. I keep a small supply of dog treats and poop bags, but I'd appreciate you bringing some extra bags and treats they like. Do they have food allergies? Do they have special medical notes, like medication to get at specific times? Can I use peanut butter to incentivize them taking a pill?
A typical day
When I'm dogsitting, your dog's special needs and triggers are my guides. Assuming an energetic, friendly pup, here's my routine: * I start the day with a 30-45 minute walk along the Met Branch Trail and feed your dog breakfast before or after. * During my lunch break, I come back from my office and we do a quick bathroom break and/or visit the dog park next to my building. * I get home about 5:30 p.m. and we do another pee break, plus dinner for your pup * Around 8:30 p.m., we'll go for a final bathroom break * On weekends, I like to do a trip to the dog park or a long 1-2 hour walk with the dog in the D.C. area (Nat'l Arboretum, Great Falls, etc).
